It was the perfect night for going up the Walkie-Talkie building and enjoying not only great food but breathtaking views over London. The Sky Garden on the 35th floor is absolutely stunning and the perfect location for any time of the day. If you fancy some good food on top of it, book a table at Darwin, London’s highest brasserie located on the 36th floor overlooking the beautiful garden.

Brunch at Makaron Restaurant at Majeka House
The Sunday brunch at Makaron Restaurant in Stellenbosch is a wonderful start into the day. The location is very modern and stylish and the garden with its bright blue chairs and tables definitely an eye-catcher.
The Goats and Vanilla Cheese Cake is excellent and very different from the cheese cake you’d expect.
The buffet table is full with treats. From seasonal fruits, home baked pastries and breads, local cheeses and charcuterie to hot dishes, salads and a traditional roast of the day. Fresh juices, coffee and tea are unlimited and two glasses of sparkling wine or craft beers included.
Is this the most decadent Sunday brunch in the Cape? Eat Out asked this question a couple of months ago when Makaron started offering the Sunday brunch. After being there I’d definitely answer this question with a yes.
