The Sunday brunch at Makaron Restaurant in Stellenbosch is a wonderful start into the day. The location is very modern and stylish and the garden with its bright blue chairs and tables definitely an eye-catcher.

The Goats and Vanilla Cheese Cake is excellent and very different from the cheese cake you’d expect.

The buffet table is full with treats. From seasonal fruits, home baked pastries and breads, local cheeses and charcuterie to hot dishes, salads and a traditional roast of the day. Fresh juices, coffee and tea are unlimited and two glasses of sparkling wine or craft beers included.Is this the most decadent Sunday brunch in the Cape? Eat Out asked this question a couple of months ago when Makaron started offering the Sunday brunch. After being there I’d definitely answer this question with a yes.
